How sponsorship works
Sponsorship runs through Patreon and is billed monthly. You can change tier or cancel at any time from your Patreon account, and cancelling keeps the month you have already paid for. There is no minimum commitment and no contract.
Trust note: Sponsorship is optional and never changes access to the project. It does not purchase engineering approval, an SLA, roadmap control, or a guaranteed feature. Priorities remain based on safety, community value, and maintainer capacity.
Prefer to contribute time?
Report an issue, improve the documentation, propose a test case, or open a pull request. Apache-2.0 licensed — issues and pull requests are open to everyone, and you never need to be a sponsor to contribute.

What is free?
All deterministic geotechnical tools are free for everyone, forever — no signup, no API key, works offline. That includes bearing capacity, liquefaction, classification, pile, slope, retaining, settlement, tunnel/TBM, seepage, workspace analysis, monitoring signal analysis, visualization, exports, and bundled skills.
What do donations support?
Donations support the Tier-1 LLM and agentic features — chat, agent, ingest, vision, GBR Q&A, AI reports, and natural-language classification — using the hosted GLM defaults (glm-5.2 for text and glm-5v-turbo for vision) or your own provider key (BYOK).
How much, and where?
Monthly tiers start at $10 through Patreon, which is the only sponsorship flow: Community Backer $10, Project Sustainer $50, and Organization Sponsor $100 per month.
Is there a one-time option?
Not at the moment. Patreon memberships are billed monthly, and we would rather say so plainly than advertise a one-time option we cannot actually process. You can cancel at any time from your Patreon account and keep the month you have already paid for, so the shortest possible commitment is a single month.
